Printing process: Including reactive printing, coating printing, etc. Reactive printing has high color fastness (usually ≥ level 3 - 4), bright colors and is environmentally friendly. Coating printing process is relatively simple and low in cost, but its color fastness is slightly inferior. The jacquard process can weave three-dimensional patterns on the fabric, with better texture.
Edge treatment: Common ones include overlocking and edge wrapping. Some high-end curtains will adopt double-thread overlocking or piping technology. The stitch density is generally 10 - 15 stitches/cm to ensure that the edges are firm and not easy to fray. Children's curtains mostly use rounded edge wrapping to avoid sharp corners.
Accessories: Hook-type curtains are standard with plastic or metal hooks; track-type curtains are equipped with aluminum alloy or plastic-steel tracks; some smart curtains are also equipped with motors and remote control devices. The length of the track needs to match the width of the curtain to ensure smooth opening and closing.

Light-shielding rate: It varies greatly according to different materials and processes. The light-shielding rate of gauze curtains is about 10% - 30%, that of semi-blackout curtains is about 40% - 60%, and that of full blackout curtains can reach 80% - 99%. It can be selected according to the usage scenario (for example, bedrooms need high light-shielding rate, and living rooms can choose semi-blackout).
Breathability: The air permeability is usually 500 - 3000mm/s (ASTM D737 standard). Natural materials such as cotton and linen have better air permeability, while blackout fabrics with strong airtightness have relatively low air permeability.
Washability: Most curtains can be machine-washed or hand-washed. For machine washing, it is recommended that the water temperature be ≤ 30 - 40℃ and use the gentle mode. The dimensional shrinkage rate after washing is generally ≤ 3% - 5%. High-quality fabrics have undergone anti-wrinkle treatment and are not easy to deform or pill after washing.
